GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE CODALIS.CH WEBSITE
This contract is concluded between :
The company Codalis SA, whose registered office is located at Chemin de Trèfle-Blanc 18, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates and represented by Cédric Juillerat, hereinafter the “Company”.
Any individual or legal entity wishing to access the site and its services, hereinafter the “User”.
The general conditions of use must be accepted by all Users, and their access to the site constitutes acceptance of these conditions.
The Company cannot be held liable for any server or network malfunction.
Similarly, the site cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure or the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party.
The codalis.ch website undertakes to implement all necessary means to guarantee the security and confidentiality of data. However, it does not provide a guarantee of total security.
The Company reserves the right not to guarantee the reliability of the sources, although the information published on the site is deemed reliable.
The contents of the codalis.ch website (logos, texts, graphic elements, videos, etc.) are protected by copyright under the Intellectual Property Code.

Purposes and legal basis of data processing
When processing your personal data, the Company complies with the provisions of the EU Data Protection Regulation and all other applicable data protection provisions. The legal basis for the processing of data derives in particular from Article 6 of the EU DPMR.
The Company uses your data to establish commercial contacts, to meet contractual and legal obligations, to execute a contract to which you are a party, to offer products and services and to strengthen customer relations, which may also include analyses for marketing purposes, customer satisfaction surveys and direct prospecting.

External service providers support the specialist departments of Codalis AG in the performance of their tasks, e.g. in the sending of newsletters. With these service providers, the Company has concluded the required agreements and contracts regarding data protection.
Data retention period
The Company keeps your data only for the period necessary for the purpose of the processing, the data is regularly deleted and the legal obligations relating to data retention are complied with.
Secure transmission of your data
The Company has taken technical and practical security measures to protect the recorded data from accidental or premeditated manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. The level of security is continually checked by experts and updated in accordance with new security standards.
The exchange of data to and from the codalis.ch website is systematically encrypted. The HTTPS transmission protocol is used and the Company always applies the latest encryption protocols.
The Company may not be held liable in the event of a breach or infringement of the security of one of its partners.
Categories, sources and origins of data

In each case, a contact form enables the Company to obtain the information required for the chosen means of communication (e.g. name, telephone number or e-mail address) and to record the content of your message. Within the framework of online applications, Codalis SA collects and processes the following data:
- your main data (e.g. names, name additions, date of birth, title(s) if applicable),
- your contact details (postal address, telephone number, e-mail address),
- your qualifications and training data (e.g. CV, diplomas),
- depending on the job description, possibly also data on your language and computer skills, as well as your work permit, driving licence or residence permit.
During the application process, Codalis AG stores your data in accordance with the applicable law and deletes them after six months at the latest.
The following data is collected and processed within the framework of the newsletters:
- surname, first name
- company (if indicated)
- e-mail address
For statistical purposes, we track links anonymously.
These cookies enable the Company to analyse the behaviour of users of the codalis.ch website and thus to create content that corresponds to the needs of users.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website codalis.ch analyse your use of the website. The information about your use of the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information collected includes the following in particular:

- the operating system used,
- the referrer URL (the last web address consulted),
- the host name of the connected computer (IP address),
- the time of the server request.
Google uses this information on behalf of the website operator to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet.
Pseudonymised user profiles are created on this website – partly with the help of service providers – for advertising and market research purposes and to ensure that the design of the website is tailored to requirements. Your IP address is stored when you use the functions of Google Maps. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The company operating this website has no influence on this data transfer. The codalis.ch website uses the services of Google Maps to make it easier for you to find your way around.
This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1), first sentence, point (f) PGRD.
Google Tag Manager
This website uses the Google Tag Manager service to manage website tags via a single interface. The tool does not use any cookies and does not collect any personal data. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data. However, it does not access this data.
In order to integrate videos into its website, the Company uses the YouTube provider operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA which is itself represented by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
In order to ensure that the video is displayed, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and transmits the pages of the codalis.ch website visited to the YouTube server.
The data processing is based on an entrepreneurial interest in presenting YouTube videos and thus on Art. 6 (1) first sentence (f) GDR.
The codalis.ch site uses Tidio, a chat platform, which connects the users of the site to the customer service of the company Codalis SA. Tidio is a service of Tidio LLC, 180 Tax Type, CA 94119, San Francisco.
The service is used to respond to requests from users of the website. The data and messages exchanged are recorded in the Tidio application.
This constitutes a legitimate interest in smooth communication with our customers in accordance with Art. 6 (1) first sentence (f) GDR.
